P.P.Muratov's fiction in literary criticism of the 1920-s and in modern literature study

The article is dedicated to the understanding of P.P.Muratov's fiction in literary criticism of the 1920-s and literature study of the the 1990-2000-s. The comments on the short-stories («Geroi i geroini» [Heroes and Heroines], «Magicheskie rasskazy» [Magic stories], etc.) and the novel («Egeriya») are analyzed. The review of literary criticism and scientific works, connected with the creative work of P.P.Muratov reveals that in the 1920-s, as well as in the 1990-2000-s, his fiction is studied from the aspect of intertextualitv, and «Obrazy Italii» [Images of Italy] is viewed on as the nearest context.
