Artistic world in Paul Heyse`s «Italian» novels

This article is devoted to the peculiarities of the artistic world in Paul Heyse`s «Italian» novels, that were created by him under the impression of his journey to Italy. The place of female characters in «Italian» novels is determined and the influence of the journey to Italy on Paul Heyse`s further creative work, his state of mind and relations between Germany and Italy in the sphere of literature is analysed in the article. The national local colour in «Italian» novels is especially underlined in this article.
