The article analyzes the basic provisions of two chapters of the treatise «Christianity not Mysterius» by Toland containing arguments about miracles. It identifies some key ideas of Toland about miracles and finds out that Toland sought to justify the New Testament miracles from the standpoint of reason. The author suggests that it is more efficient to explain the originality of Toland's ideas about miracles by his conservation of deep personal faith, as well as by the dependence of his religious and philosophical ideas on the traditions of medieval religious and philosophical thought.
