Ideas of P. F. Lesgaft in development of systematic studies of physical education and sports

The fundamental goal of all scientific studies of PF Lesgaft (1870-1909), as well as the introduction of pedagogical practice of school and preschool institutions, was the harmonious physical and spiritual development of man, with the help of physical exercises. The national system of physical education, developed by PF Lesgaft, was aimed at the all-round development of the personality.
