The idea of meta-artistry in the aesthetics of Russian symbolism

The article examines several variants of the idea of meta-artistry within the framework of the theory of Russian symbolism. They include theurgic creative work in the interpretation by Vyach. Ivanov and A. Bely, Pushkin's poetry about poetry in V.S. Solovyov's description and bifacial artistic form in Vyach. Ivanov's interpretation.
