The key element of this connection may be one of the fundamental Russian culture's ideas - the transfiguration, which goes through a complex path of transformation and change (from its origin in early Christian culture to the ideas of N. Fedorov, A. Bogdanov, V. Solovyov and other Russian thinkers of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries). Russian avant-garde culture and the Russian Revolution have become the central episodes associated with the metamorphoses of the idea of transfiguration. The Russian avant-garde constructivism and productivism art were taken for the analysis of the implementation of the idea of transfiguration in the culture of the Russian avant-garde as these movement are considered to be the most representative.
