On the basis of the natural law paradigm in the late Middle Ages, the concept of sovereignty is developed for the first time, which can be seen as an extrapolation of the concept of free will to the level of political education, despite the fact that the very concept of freedom is interpreted primarily in the aspect of subjectivity, id est. self-determination, self-restraint and self-development of society as a single political actor.
