The migrants' identity and the changing social structure

The article analyzes the blurring of social structure lines and the transformation of the identity of social groups. The formation of a new identity is the most difficult process for migrants who are marginalized initially, and in the conditions of changing social structure they face the challenge of finding a new identity. The new urban marginalized groups are associated with the problems of integration of migrants and refugees, the processes of their identity formation.
