The variation analysis of cranial and odontological parameters of cryptic species Apodemus uralensis (Pallas, 1811) and Apodemus ponticus (Sviridenko, 1936) has revealed transgression in all absolute and relative characters. To identify the species attachment of Apodemus most suitable discriminant keys to cranium and teeth measurements are chosen.
