Identification and determination of generic belonging of microorganisms in the arctic territories

The article presents the results of a microbiological study of samples taken in the Svalbard archipelago. Determination of the generic / species belonging of microorganisms was carried out using microscopy, culture and mass spectrometric methods of research. The analysis of 119 samples based on morphological and tinctorial properties of microorganisms presumably identified 24 genera of bacteria. Using MALDI-TOF/MS technology, 275 strains of microorganisms were isolated.
