Identification of a WRKY41-like transcription factor in buckwheat cultivar

Бесплатный доступ

In this study, genes were identified in three chromosomes of buckwheat (Fagopyrum esculentum) that presumably may encode a protein of the transcription factor WRKY41 or its homologs, such as WRKY53. Many studies by foreign authors prove that this transcription factor is associated with drought tolerance, cold tolerance, parasite resistance in plants, and is also related to the mechanism of flowering initiation. The study of these transcription factors will allow us to learn more about the possibilities for breeding yield and stress-resistant cultivated plants.
