Ideology as an agent of public policy

The subject of the study is ideology as a complex, multi-component phenomenon. The definition and the role of ideology in society and state, approaches to the interpretation of this term are analyzed. The author shows the relationship of power and society to the study object’s at different stages of its development. Ideology in the Russian Federation at the present stage is studied.
