Postmodern ideology and the problem of patriotic education of cadets in Russia

The article proves that the system of values and goals of the postmodern imposed today is connected with the general ideology of contemporary liberalism, which is aimed at weakening moral principles of society and strengthening the principles of individualism overall. This political direction, which places a person's love for himself at the highest stake, leads to the overall undermining of the country's national defense, interfering with the patriotic education of Russian cadets. The policy of the Russian authorities, aimed at bringing together cadet schools and the church, should have a positive effect on the suppression of the influence of postmodern and on strengthening of the collectivist principles of cadets, and therefore on the defense of our borders.
