The game for the sake of the game in the theatre and gedonistic utopia by N.N. Evreinov

In the article the model of the theatrical Utopia of N.N. Evreinov is analysed. Two levels of itsrealisation – art creativity of the Evreinov – playwright and activity of the Evreinov – director at«The Ancient theatre» are revealed and system characterised. The sociocultural model of Evreinov’sUtopia is considered in a paradigm of carnival cultures of cabaret, its escapist and mythpoeticaspects are thus accented.
