Feature film as historical memory and cultural heritage

The article analyzes feature films as one of the forms of preservation, transmission and reconstruction of historical memory and cultural heritage in the context of the Russian socio-cultural field. Cinema, with its unique synthetic nature, allows for the creation of audiovisual images of the past that are more endowed with affective significance for recipients.This emotional involvement and artistic imagery make cinema a significant tool capable of influencing the perception of historical events and cultural phenomena.
