The II International Buddhist Forum: the theme of preserving and strengthening traditional values in international communication

The paper considers the set of actions within the framework of the 2nd International Buddhist Forum in Ulan-Ude (Republic of Buryatia) as the events aimed at strengthening and preserving traditional spiritual and moral values. The authors show how through the rhetoric of preservation of traditional values and the community of Buddhist tradition the existing international contacts with Asian states strengthen and new humanitarian agreements are created, as well as the prospects of creating an international alliance, where the common foundation will be the understanding of the need to preserve and protect traditional values.
