In the article the Sokolovs’ names are considered from the standpoint of mythopoetics. It is concluded that in Sholokhov’s story"The destiny of man" anthroponomy corresponds Orthodox naming standards, they has internal communication among themselves and form a single anthroponimical complex, situated in a complex interaction with the idea of fate.
