Place image as a driver for the development of the Denisov cave territorial tourist complex

The authors present the results of studies related to the tourism development in the area adjacent to the Denisova Cave cultural monument based on ideas about the formation of the place image. The authors use an integrated approach to study how tourist area image impact on tourism development. The image of territorial tourist complex can be a driver in the case when most of its components are attractive for tourists and investors. A matrix of the ratio of the factors of the place image and the elements of the territorial tourist complex has been compiled using the Denisova Cave as an example. The modern characteristics of the territory that affect the image are revealed. Steps have been identified to develop measures to form the image necessary for the development of the tourist complex. Conditions are necessary under which the flow of tourists will grow, and investors will intensify the construction of the necessary infrastructure.
