Image of the Russian police, sociological research

In the article actualized the problem of images of social institutions and government organizations in Russia. Given determination of "the image of the police." On the basis of the author's sociological research carried out a comparative analysis of various aspects of the image of the Russian police. His analysis was carried out on two samples at all levels: above society, inside society and inside organization. All this has allowed to test the hypothesis of homogeneity and typical perception of police representatives of various social communities. Sets out a number of conclusions, in particular that the image and «the image of own organization» police in the mass consciousness of citizens are different.
