The article deals with the peculiarities of political communication from the point of view of text linguistics. The basic conception of this research is the dialogical theory of M.M. Bakhtin. The main accent is made on culturological character of text (discourse) dialogue revealed through regular references to opinions, decisions and events happened during the Stalin’s era. The analysis is based on the articles published in «New York Times».
