Immunocorrection of the body in the complex of measures for the prevention of the respiratory symptom complex of pigs

The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of the immunotropic drug PigSave in a complex of measures to ensure the health of pigs. The object of the study was young pigs during the period of rearing and fattening. For the experiment, one technological group of weaned piglets in the amount of 1,309 heads was divided into 2, control and experimental. All animals of the technological group on the 21st day of life were immunized with a commercial vaccine against type 2 porcine circovirus infection and a vaccine against porcine enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae. In addition to specific immunization, piglets of the experimental group were simultaneously intramuscularly injected with the immunotropic drug PigSave at a dose of 1.0 ml per head. It has been established that PigSave promotes the activation of growth and increases the safety of livestock. At the end of the rearing period, the weight of the young animals of the experimental group turned out to be 1.36 kg or 4.09% higher than the control value, and when removed from fattening - by 4.22 kg or 3.78%. The average daily increase in live weight of pigs in the experimental group turned out to be higher than the control value during the rearing period by 27.2 g or 4.91%, and during fattening - by 29.2 g or 3.64%. Injection of PigSave contributed to the improvement of lung condition. In pigs of the experimental group, the number of lungs affected by bronchopneumonia was 2% less, the percentage of the affected surface was 0.19% less, and as a result, the value of the enzootic pneumonia index was 0.03 lower. Thus, intramuscular injection of PigSave immunotropic drug to piglets on the 21st day of life simultaneously with a vaccine against type 2 porcine circovirus infection and a vaccine against porcine enzootic pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, by increasing the effectiveness of specific prevention of respiratory symptomcomplex, improves the safety of livestock and activates the growth of young pigs during rearing and fattening periods.
