Import substitution in the regions of Russia as a tool for socio-economic development

The article examines the concept and essence of import substitution, the prerequisites of this process in the Russian economy. The legal and organizational conditions of the import substitution process are considered. The measures of state regulation and state support for import substitution are analyzed. The problems and current trends in the development of the production of import-substituting goods and services in Russia are revealed. Strategic prospects for import substitution are outlined in the face of sanctions from unfriendly states.
