Implementation of the norms of international environmental law in the system of Russian law

The development of the Russian Federation towards forming the rule-of-law, democratic and social state is impossible without the study of state construction in foreign countries, as well as the functioning of national legal systems. Currently there is a close interaction of legal systems of different states, one of the means of such interaction is the category “implementation”. 2017 in the Russian Federation in accordance with the Decree of the President of Russia is declared the Year of Ecology. The problems of ecology and environmental protection are of a global nature, since the environment is the basis of life on Earth. In connection with this circumstance, the issue of the implementation of international environmental standards in the Russian legal system becomes topical. Some aspects of the mechanism of the implementation of international norms in the Russian legal system are revealed, and some ways of further development of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of ensuring environmental safety and environmental protection are suggested.
