Import as the main measure of economic activity of Russia and its subjects

The article is devoted to the analysis of foreign economic indicators of Russia and the Orenburg region, such as foreign trade, exports and imports, as well as the study of the trade structure with foreign countries and the CIS. The study conducted in the framework of this article suggests that the decline in foreign economic indicators is largely associated with the unstable political situation in the world. It should be noted that the impact of the sanctions imposed by both Europe and Russia, however, the decline in these indicators is not critical.
