Import substitution - as one of the main directions of the development of the economy of the Volgograd region

This article discusses one of the most pressing issues - strengthening the economy through the implementation of the strategy of import substitution. The reasons that led the government to the formation of this stage in economic policy are given. The paper reviews the official statistics of enterprises by type of economic activity. Thus, these data allow us to analyze the state of industrial enterprises at the present time.
