Pulsed electromagnetic treatment of molten zinc and copper alloys

Бесплатный доступ

From ways of external influence on metals at a melt stage known by this time, the most claimed and popular are ultrasonic and temperature-time processing as well as processing by low-frequency fluctuations. Collected numerous experimental data on the specified ways of influence give evidence of positive role of external physical influences on structurization in alloys of various purpose - deformed, granulated and foundry. Along with it, new methods of influence on melt are appearing, and their results are certainly worthy. One of such methods, namely processing of melt by nanosecond electromagnetic impulses (NEMI), was already repeatedly mentioned. In this work new experimental data on processing melts of zinc, copper and copper alloys are presented.
