The main methodical approaches to indexing of texts on veterinary science according to UDC in FSBSI CSAL are described. Methods of formation of composite indexes according to the basic rules of indexing in UDC are shown; detailed specification of the basic and secondary classes as well as the special determinants used for creation of these indexes is given.
