We continue to develop the indicatory species approach to the identification of important natural areas on the example of Oka River basin. We have assessed the indicatory potential of 18 from 20 vascular plants, occurring in Oka River basin and included in the Pan-European Priority Conservation List. We consider Diplazium sibiricum, Stipa zalesskii, Cypripedium calceolus, Liparis loeselii, Aconitum flerovii, Saxifragahirculus, Ligularia sibirica, as having the highest indicatory importance, Cinna latifolia, Iris aphylla, Moehringia lateriflora, Angelica palustris, Echiumrussicum, Adenophora lilifolia, Jurinea cyanoides, Serratulalycopifolia, as having relatively high indicatory importance, and Thesium ebracteatum, Pulsatillapatens, Agrimoniapilosa as having low indicatory importance to reveal the important natural areas.
