The article reveals the competitive features and peculiarities of industrial parks, distinguishing them form industrial zones and technical parks, the importance of the creation of the industrial parks as separately new format of the organization of the industrial production in the regions of Russia as an efficient way of the attraction of investments into the regions of the Southern federal district is shown.
