Inflation: essence, first causes and kinds

The article explores the concept of inflation as an economic process, identifies and considers the reasons (including monetary and non-monetary), as well as their specificity leading to inflation, characterizes the main types of this economic phenomenon and gives its characteristics, substantiates the influence of supply and demand on pricing. Topical directions in the implementation of anti-inflationary policy are proposed.
