The food and agriculture organization of the United Nations (FAO) and its liaison office with the Russian Federation

The history of cooperation between the International Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Russian Federation and the activities of its Russian Office for FAO Liaison are considered. In the course of its activities FAO collects and disseminates information in the areas of agriculture, food and environmental management by providing access to useful data, innovative technologies and international standards in these areas. FAO promotes disseminating information on advanced technologies and experiences in agriculture, which helps countries to develop and solve global problems in this sphere.
