Informational reality as a factor of western individualistic society development

The article analyzes informational reality as a factor determining the development of modern society, which is called in a number of publications «western», «individualistic». We identify relations between the types of reality (physical, biological, technical, social, spiritual, informational), reveal the theoretical and methodological bases of the research. Dependence of social reality as a sphere of human and society existence on information reality as a sphere of information and informational processes has been revealed. We analyze the main trends in understanding of informational reality by modern science largely based on metaphysical principles (agnosticism, anthropocentrism, pluralism). The peculiarities of informational reality concepts which are inherent for modern Western society are revealed as well as their strengths and weaknesses, development laws. Thus, as a result of the research, we have identified their influence on development of the human and modern civilization.
