Information war between Turkey and Germany

The article examines background and main development stages of information war between Turkey and Germany. Based on the political and cultural analysis of development of the Turkish-German relations and finding out of their most significant confrontation points the authors have come to the following conclusions: German internal political and legal agenda of the multiculturalism issue is the main reason for emergence of Turkish-German disagreements and even information war between them. Turks living in Germany form one of the oldest and largest diasporas in its territory. The ideologists of multiculturalism hoped that the Turks would be the engine of the process of integration of Muslim immigrants into German society. When they did not meet the expectations of the supporters of multiculturalism, an acute information war broke out between Turkey and Germany.
