Forensic medical examination is of great importance in the formation of evidence in the criminal process. Since this action in the criminal law is strictly procedural in nature, lawyers need to know and understand the reasons and grounds for the appointment, as well as the tasks, the boundaries of competence, the methods and types of forensic medical examination used. In addition, the law enforcement officer should be able to correctly use the results of forensic medical examination. Obtaining modern and qualitative knowledge of forensic medicine by legal students is a prerequisite for their effective enforcement
