The authors of this article focus on the features of distance education with the use of information and communication technologies in the field of physical culture, the importance of using ICT in physical culture caused by the need to improve the quality of both training and education. The pros and cons of distance learning in physical culture, the positive aspects of learning with ICT, methods of working with an interactive whiteboard in physical education lessons are determined. With a competent organization of teaching this subject, each teacher chooses the necessary student - dependent teaching methods, which allows them to be active, to activate their cognitive activity, and also to expand their horizons, to form and develop not only motor skills and abilities, but also their creative and intellectual potential, to improve the quality of acquired knowledge and learning efficiency, to develop a great interest in studying such a subject as physical culture.
