The information-communication approach to the study of the phenomenon of political participation of modern Russia citizens

In the context of the topic of political participation in Russia the article deals with growing relevance and significance of the information-communication-based approach in political researches. With the development of information communications there appeared a new form of political participation -online participation in the Internet that converts the political space and extends the research field. Mentioning the works of foreign and domestic scholars, the author attempts to explain the essence of the modern understanding of political participation.
