To form an induced vortex flow directed opposite to the channel flow, we proposed a vortex gallery that has an open cylindrical shape with a normal flow axis.Calculation of the vortex gallery was performed in MathCad. The gallery was mounted on a movable platform, which allowed to adjust its position relative to the scour area. Moments of all forces relative to a track roller of the movable platform of the gallery were determined; this allowed to establish its minimum length, at which the stability of the structure is ensured.
