Methodology of building information modeling - BIM is an innovative alternative to the traditional approach to the design, construction and buildings and structures operation. Most BIM implemented within the framework of the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) in construction. Likewise, BIM / IPD technology should be included in the educational process of builder’s education. Early involvement in the design and construction process of the project team and the general contractor, the authors propose to model in the learning process through crossdisciplinary course design at the department “Building construction” and “Technology and organization of building production” of Samara State Architecture and Civil Engineering University. To solve this problem the authors identified the order of actions of participants of pedagogical experiment in the next stages of the life cycle of buildings and structures: conceptualization, design solutions, project development, the implementing documentation, passing the examination (project defense). The means of integration of the design model in the calculation process, document management, process design and construction of specified are the software packages Autodesk and Tekla companies.
