The authors identify one of the important elements of the strategy in the crisis conditions the tasks to complete the initiated and the selection of new investment projects, which will provide a competitive edge in a shrinking market. In this connection special importance are issues of public economic information of interested users. To assess the information provided by the authors conducted an analysis of more than 15 companies of the furniture industry in Russia, the USA and Asia.
