Information support of innovative organizations

The article gives attention to definitions of such categories as “innovation”, “innovative organization”, “information support”. It has been proved that information support appears to be a subsystem of strategic control and is a definitive sign of innovative organization. Special features of information support of innovative organizations have been analyzed. They are considered to be open systems, efficiency of which is supported by proper definition of threats/dangers and possibilities arising in an outside environment. It is justified that innovative organizations will get a wider development if they are based on a cluster approach. The importance of the information component in enhancing the innovative activity of the organization is analyzed. Methodological tools for information movement in an innovative organization are thought out. It is shown that the correct information support of innovative organizations will be the foundation for increasing their competitiveness and sustainability of functioning in the long term.
