This article provides examples of information methods of political struggle of candidates in Presidents of the Russian Federation on the example of the election campaign in 2012. The author identifies the main components of election campaigns; the strategy also cites the examples put forward in the study of the theory. In conclusion, the author analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the various means of information campaign during electoral campaigns for the presidential election in Russia, focusing on the implications of this kind of race.
