Information Exchange in Criminal Proceedings: the Transformation of Forms of Communication and Its Impact on the Proof Process

The author examines information exchange as a phenomenon of digitalization in the context of various historical periods and technological changes. The study identified new forms of communication, emphasizing their advantages and impact on the process of proof. It is concluded that information related to a criminal case can be used as evidence if it meets such criteria as validity, legitimacy, relevance, completeness, and reliability.
