The article considers such an essential factor of the spatial and regional economy as spatial relations, which can be revealed and employed in management with application of the Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI). The author analyzes state and features of the SDI, discusses problems and objectives of the SDI development as a management tool. It is emphasized, that the Spatial Data Infrastructure is a necessary component of the united socioeconomic space formation in the country.
