Infrastructure and investment driver of the development territory (the Far East of Russian Federation)

The article reveals the leading aspects of the socio-economic development of the Far East region in a constantly changing external geopolitical and economic environment. Public authority has developed measures to increase the competitiveness of certain parts of the national territory. In first order, preference is given to those regions where it is possible to solve promising tasks and create a favorable climate for entrepreneurship. Specialists have some problems, but the prospects give grounds for implementing the concept of the development of the Far East, taking into account the current state of the country’s economy. Vast and resource-rich Russia in a period of turbulence is obliged to take advantage of the most important and promising areas for the development of opportunities in various regions. Far East is one of the clearest examples where such initiatives can be applied to a greater extent. This Federal District is currently the most important geostrategic region of the country, which is characterized by a diverse natural resource potential, and also has ample opportunities to attract capital and the largest commodity flows. The socio-economic and infrastructural developments of the subjects of this region are quite differentiated. Additionally, the epidemiological situation in the world has further shaken the socio-economic indicators, but, at the same time, has pushed the country to create opportunities for the growth of investment projects. Conditions are currently arising due to priority development areas and other preferential systems. Experience must be transferred taking into account the characteristics of each selected object of the state’s economic policy.
