The article analyzes the potential of museum projects with varying degrees of inclusiveness. The "Tactile cabinet" makes part of the collection of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts accessible to the blind and visually impaired, but at the same time the distance between them and the rest of the visitors remains. The exhibition of tactile paintings "Seeing the invisible" held here, the background of which begins with the exhibition "Touching the Prado" in Spain, allowed not only the blind, but also everyone who wants to get acquainted with painting by touch. They discovered new cognitive abilities in themselves, and also thought about what it means to live without sight. The inclusive elements in the Museum of Russian Impressionism tactile layouts and materials, aromas and sounds are organically integrated into the design of the exposition. They not only create an accessible environment and remind that people with disabilities live nearby, but also off er bright and rich impressions to all visitors. Russian exposition projects based on a fundamentally new approach to inclusivity proposed by Andreas Heinecke allow us to expand the boundaries of perception by activating the senses, which are usually not intensively involved. Creating conditions in which the unique abilities of the blind are used and benefi t society, instead of caring for them as "weak", seems constructive and promising.
