One of the urgent problems of modern otorhinolaryngology is the problem of treatment and prevention of diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses. The results of numerous studies show that 20 to 40% of children suffer from diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses in childhood, and 10 to 15% of the population suffer from a similar pathology in adulthood.
