Innovative-cognitive trends in the definition of self-sufficiency of Russian regions

The article is devoted to the innovative trends in the definition of self-sufficiency of Russian regions. The circumstances determining the character of self-sufficiency are extensively developing processes of regionalization and globalization. It is concluded that Russian regions having the character of self-sufficiency are able to provide security, stability and progressive development of Russia.
