Innovative forms of youth leisure: modern trends

The article is devoted to the problem of diversification of the leisure industry, expanding the range of innovative areas and forms of youth leisure. The characteristic of the value-semantic content of leisure activities, including young people in the system of diversity of social roles, positions and relationships. In today's information society, a person living in a metropolis dramatically increases the amount of free time, but to make the most of it to restore strength and self-development it is necessary to develop skills of leisure competence. The subjective choice of leisure activity gives young people the opportunity to experience a sense of satisfaction and fullness of existence, increases the level of social and cultural adaptation in society. Young people expect from leisure activities not only positive emotional experiences, but also the acuteness of sensations, as well as the brightness of impressions. Based on the theory of generations, the socio-psychological characteristics of young people are revealed, the results of sociological research on the theme of life attitudes and expectations of modern Russian youth are presented. The actual directions of youth leisure (cultural, educational, etc.) and innovative forms of youth leisure (immersive performances and quests, creative and theatrical battles, concerts in the dark, educational forums, educational conferences, motivating show lectures, sharing events, cultural subbotniks, historical reconstructions, etc.) are revealed and systematized. The trends of further development of the youth leisure industry are substantiated.
