The article is devoted to innovative approaches to training police officers in the use of special tools, with an in-depth analysis of key problems, including the gap between static training and real scenarios, lack of individualization of programs, lack of modern material base, subjectivity of skills assessment and psychological barriers to mastering. I analyze in detail the contradictions of traditional methods, such as "polygon literacy" and inefficiency in stressful conditions, offering comprehensive solutions: the introduction of virtual and augmented reality for safe modeling, tactical role-playing games with noise and smoke, biometric devices for monitoring stress, AI for personalized scenarios and motivation applications. Examples of pilot projects are given – VR simulators of stun guns, mobile ranges with laser simulators, drones for training support, cloud platforms for error analysis, showing increased accuracy, reaction speed and team synergy while reducing incidents. Special attention is paid to interdisciplinarity with psychologists and physicians, regional adaptation of programs, incentive systems and long-term monitoring through correlation of training data with operational statistics, which ensures proactive improvement of training in the face of modern threats.
