The market economy increases the demands for the quality of the specialists’ training which in turn directly depends on the successful professional self-determination of the school children. The Russian and foreign experience of the vocational guidance is analysed in the paper. The author analyses the experience of the vocational guidance system formation in the VET institution by conducting the educational programmes for school children.
